For over twenty-five years, the Amateur Radio clubs in various Northwestern Ontario communities have taken turns hosting this annual family event. The Camp 807 Hamfest incorporates the three favourite things of Northwest Ontario Hams - camping, barbecues and Amateur Radio! An event that began many years ago as a one-day barbecue in an area Ham's backyard, Camp 807 has grown into an annual outdoor gathering during the first weekend of August that attracts Amateur Radio operators and their families from across Canada and the mid-western United States. Here at Camp 807's unofficial home on the Internet, you will find current info on the upcoming Hamfest, and photos and memories of past events. This web site requires your participation! If you've attended Camp 807 in the past and have photos of past '807s that you'd like to share with visitors to the web site, please . This web site will only be as up-to-date as the information that has been supplied to the web site manager. If you're a volunteer on the current year's committee, please as the plans develop for your event, and as the details become finalized or revised. If you have been on a Camp 807 committee in the past and would like to have your event featured here, please . |
