L.O.W.R.A. will be the host for CAMP 807 2002, and they would like to extend an invitation to all Amateur Radio operators, their families, and other interested persons to participate in this annual family event. It's shaping up to be a great weekend! The Camp 807 committee hopes that you can include our region's annual Ham Radio gathering in your summer plans. |

CAMP 807 2002 will take place the weekend of August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th at the Warroad City Park and Campground. Both a swimming pool and playground are located near the park shelter, the casino is two blocks away, the "Run to the Lake Rod and Car Show" and "crazy Days" will be taking place that weekend. Friday August 2nd will be for registration and socializing at the park shelter. The 147.000 MHz (-600) repeater in Roosevelt and the 147.090 MHz (+600) repeater in Wannaska will be used as talk-in frequencies. The primary callsign for communicating with the Hamfest will be KC0IGT (Leland Hendrickson). Other club members will be monitoring the repeaters in order to provide directions and assistance to those travelling to the event. Saturday's supper will be steak and beans, with pot luck salads and desserts (supplied by volunteers). The cost will be $6 in U.S. funds per person, payable at registration time. Please bring your own plate and utensils. |

You do not have to be in attendance to win the prize. Tickets for this draw and Saturday night's supper will be available all weekend from selected L.O.W.R.A. members. | |
