Here's our "Camp 807" tribute to Steve Staats, W9DNI - amateur (radio) outdoor chef extraordinaire, who's been manning the coals at our annual Hamfest for as long as any of us can remember.

For those times when you're wondering if it's worth all the trouble, Steve, here's your reward - to be scanned into a computer, reduced to teenie-weenie data bits, and sent surfing down the Internet.

1998: W9DNI pauses for the camera, as VE4CAM eyes his meal-in-the-making with great anticipation. Steve appears to have left his apron and hairnet in the car.
1998: W9DNI takes on multiple grills

1998: Multiple grills are no problem for our experienced cook.

1999: W9DNI at the Grill of Camp 807 in Dryden
1999: Once again, Steve uses his culinary skills to keep the ravenous hordes at bay during Camp 807 '99 at Birchland Trailer Park in Dryden, Ontario.
